Orange Belt Test – Feb 23
To register for this test, you must have completed the minimum number of required classes and have gotten your Permission to Test form signed by either Katie or Jason. Registration is due by February 16. Permission to Test forms are available at the front desk.
We recommend that you find a testing partner early and practice together outside of class a few times to prepare. Dry drill at home! Practice in front of a mirror! Think about all the steps in a technique and work through them!
All gear is required during the test, and you must also wear a Lions T-shirt and training shoes.
Good nutrition and hydration are crucial leading up to the test. Hydrate or Die-drate!
How do you know if you’re ready to test? You know that quote, “Don’t practice until you get it right. Practice until you can’t get it wrong.” That’s what we want to see… that even after you’re exhausted and in the middle of yet another stress drill, you can still perform all of the Section 1 techniques correctly and with power and aggression.
